Boyah J. Farah: A voice for refugees
Boyah J. Farah's nonfiction work has been featured in Salon, the Guardian and Truthdig. Farah, who came to the United States in 1993 as a teenage refugee, participated in the memoir incubator at GrubStreet (a creative writing school) in Boston.

Boston Write-in at the BPL
On Friday people of all backgrounds gathered on the steps of the Boston Public Library for an afternoon of writing and storytelling in support of recent immigrants and refugees. Two of those writers, Boyah J. Farah and Gazmend Kapllani participated in the event.
